It’s currently gorgeous sunny weather in the UK and heat records for May are being broken all over the place, so keep cool, drink plenty of water, and have a read of NLISN’s May update.
We’re currently recruiting new committee members, Website Co-ordinator; Development Co-ordinator; Research Co-ordinator; Partnerships Co-ordinator (check the email to the list on 13th May for more info) – closing date is this Friday 29th May, so still a tiny bit of time to contact Jo or Andy if you’re interested. These roles will help us shape the coming years of NLISN’s work, so we’ll share more about upcoming projects and directions as these posts are filled.
Our next webinar is “I, the mask: Navigating work post disclosure” on 9th June, presented by Elizabeth Cardoso Fernandes.
Still time (and spaces) to book on our conference, the programme is on the website, along with reasons to come along and more, with another push coming to the mailing list separately soon!
NLISN have been cracking on with research (the Research Co-ordinator post is to help organise us to drive it forward!), with first peer-reviewed output currently waiting for peer review, hopefully we’ll have something more to share in later months.
And finally, Amelia and Andy are writing a book on neurodiversity in libraries and we’ve a question for you all! As part of it we’ll include a glossary of relevant terms, is there anything missing in the list below? What else would you include? Please let us know..
