We’re looking for people to join the committee in one of two roles:

Web Officer. Supporting and working with the existing online & social media team, this role will focus on routine updates of our website, uploading webinar videos to YouTube for sharing, and updating event details on the website nlisn.org A small amount of video editing may occasionally be required, trimming webinar videos or splitting longer ones into separate speakers, but nothing complicated. 

Development Officer. We’ve recently turned NLISN into a CIC which means more flexibility for us to raise money to support our core work. This role will explore opportunities, such as training for NTs and organisations, organisational membership, coaching, and other service  that we could deliver primarily through paid professionals rather than through volunteers. They would be a link person between any paid professionals and the committee / treasurer unless the services grow to the extent that we could recruit specific committee members to manage them.

For both roles you would be expected to try to attend our monthly committee meetings, or send a short report if unable to (and catch up with notes / actions afterwards). The Web Officer role is a roughly 2 to 3 hour commitment each month (including the monthly meeting). The Development Officer time commitment may take more time initially, but will depend on the volunteer and the ideas you generate, before settling down to an estimated 2 to 4 hours per month.
